19.11.2020 On the opening of the International Festival «Bridge of Friendship»
The XVII International Festival of Russian theatres of national republics of Russia and foreign countries «Bridge of Friendship» will be starting in Yoshkar-Ola on November 20, 2020.
Creative teams from 10 national republics of Russia will take part in the festival: full-time participation of theaters from Mari El, Adygea, Dagestan, Tatarstan, Chuvashia and the Chechen Republic, in online format - theaters from Bashkiria, Karelia, Udmurtia and Yakutia.
The festival will last until November, 29.

September 01, 2019 marks the 80th anniversary of World War II.
On the eve of this tragic event, on August 29, 2019 at 13.00 at the National library named after S. G. Chavayn (Yoshkar-Ola, Pushkin Str., 28) will take place the opening of the exhibition of documents from the Foreign Policy Archive of the Russian Federation "1939. The beginning of World War II. Secret documents of diplomacy". The exhibition is organized by the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Yoshkar-Ola together with the National library.
The exhibition covers the period from the liquidation of Czechoslovakia as a sovereign state in March 1939 and strengthening of Germany's influence in Central and South-Eastern Europe to the deepening of the global political crisis in summer of 1939 and the German attack on Poland on September 1, 1939.
The exhibition "1939. The beginning of World War II. Secret documents of diplomacy" is designed both for specialists-historians and for the widest audience.
